What happens to your pet if you can no longer care for them?
How does it work?
The process is simple:
1. PREPARE
Register your pet and choose someone you trust to act as your Nominated Representative.
2. ACTIVATE
If you die or become unable to care for your pet, your Nominated Representative contacts ARA.
3. PROTECT
ARA takes your pet into its care, assesses their needs and works towards finding them a suitable new home.
Our pets are family. We plan their lives, their food, their health and their happiness but have you ever thought about what would happen to them if you were suddenly no longer able to care for them?
The Animal Rescue Algarve (ARA) Legacy Pet Plan is a way of making a lasting commitment to your pet’s future by arranging for ARA to care for your dog or cat if you die or become permanently unable to look after them. By registering your pet, you can have peace of mind knowing they will have a safe, caring home with ARA, an established award-winning animal rescue organisation in the Algarve. Through ARA, your pet will continue to receive the love and care they deserve, with the opportunity to find a new loving forever home.
